Great Cars at reasonable fair prices

I was looking for a change or car, and a friend recommended HQ Cars. I walked away delighted with a neat little Honda Civic, no problems at all, and was given 5-star service by Tom, who I believe runs the business. Could not ask for more when purchasing a second-hand car

This was my first time using a second-hand car dealer, so I was slightly dubious. There was no need, as I would not hesitate to use HQ cars again. Tom was amazing….. nothing was too much trouble, even my crazy texts quite late into the evening. All my requests were met with positive responses, and when we viewed the car, it was exactly as described, and the purchase was quick and easy. Anyone looking to buy a car, I would definitely recommend visiting HQ Cars and chatting with Tom; you can’t go wrong!

Quality vehicle and excellent service

Exceptional

The main reason we decided to visit HQ cars was based on there fantastic reviews, and I have to say we were very impressed! Absolutely great straightforward purchase

Great service. Saw the car Friday evening and emailed Tom, who responded within an hour and arranged to view and test drove the next morning. Decided to buy, paid, did the paperwork, and drove it home. Really very straightforward purchase, and I would be happy to buy a car from Tom in the future.

Extremely genuine car dealer

I bought a Ford Focus from Tom at HQ Cars, and I honestly can say it’s been a great experience. It’s rare these days to find a dealer who is honest and will go above and beyond for their customers. Integrity & morals

I've always been cautious about car dealers, but Tom completely changed my view. He wasn’t a pushy salesman—just helpful and professional. The real standout moment came after I bought the car. Two weeks later, it wouldn’t start, and I feared the worst. I called Tom, and instead of brushing me off, he immediately said, "No problem, I'll fix it or refund your money." Turns out it was just a blown fuse—99p to fix—but the key thing was how quickly he helped and showed real integrity. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Tom has been amazing and so kind. The car is beautiful and has been very well taken care of and he very kindly delivered the car to me as well, which was much appreciated, and I would recommend him to anyone in the future.

Professional and friendly, very supportive seller

It was a perfect experience from start to finish; collecting the car was very smooth. Had an issue with a coolant pipe burst 2 days outside of warranty. Tom was really helpful regarding that issue and paid for the repair out of pocket. Will definitely buy a car from this man in the future. he was really helpful, and other than the pipe (which I did buy an older car, so I can expect some issues regarding age), the car has been faultless. Such a great experience

We called up today wanting to view a car, Tom said to head down and he would wait for us even though it was already late afternoon and we were still going to be about an hour, we got there and Tom greeted us and had the car ready for us to see, brought car as it was exactly what we wanted and needed. We got a great deal, and Tom was super friendly and helpful and really made the whole thing easy and enjoyable. I just wanted a clean, safe, and reasonably priced family car. Tom was very helpful and understanding to this and found me just what I was looking for.
